What does Pau Hana on Wheels provide?

We provide professional mobile bartending services, certified bartenders, bar equipment, mixers, garnishes, ice, setup, service, and cleanup. We can also assist with alcohol purchasing estimates and beverage planning.

Do you provide the alcohol?

Typically, no. Due to Hawaii liquor laws, clients are generally responsible for purchasing and providing all alcoholic beverages unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

We are happy to provide a customized shopping list and quantity recommendations based on your guest count and beverage selections.

What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve Oʻahu and may be available for Neighbor Island events upon request. Additional travel fees may apply depending on location.

Yes! Not every event requires a full cocktail bar. We offer Beer, Wine & Seltzer Service packages that provide a simple and elegant beverage experience for your guests.

Do you offer custom cocktails?

Absolutely! We love creating signature cocktails customized to your event, theme, colors, or favorite flavors.

How many bartenders will I need?

As a general guideline:

• Up to 100 guests – 1 Bartender
• 101–200 guests – 2 Bartenders
• 201–300 guests – 3 Bartenders
• 301+ guests – Custom Staffing Plan

Staffing recommendations may vary depending on your beverage menu and service style.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Pau Hana on Wheels maintains the appropriate business licensing and insurance coverage required for our operations.

Additional insured certificates may be available upon request.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings and peak event seasons.

Many popular dates book several months in advance.

What is required to reserve my date?

A signed service agreement and a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the estimated event total are required to secure your event date.

When is final payment due?

Final guest counts and final payment are due 14 days prior to your event date.

Can I make changes after booking?

Yes. We understand plans change. We'll do our best to accommodate guest count adjustments, staffing changes, and beverage selections. Changes made within 14 days of the event are subject to approval and availability.

Do you supply ice?

Yes, ice is included in all of our packages

Can guests tip the bartenders?

A mandatory gratuity is included in all contracts and distributed among our service team.

While we do not place tip jars at events, our bartenders may accept unsolicited gratuities offered directly by guests.

What happens if it rains?

For outdoor events, clients are responsible for providing adequate weather protection and shelter.

If conditions become unsafe for guests, staff, or equipment, service may be suspended until conditions improve.

Will you serve guests under 21?

Absolutely not.

Our bartenders strictly follow all federal, state, and local alcohol laws. Guests who appear under the age of 35 may be asked to present valid government-issued identification before being served alcohol.

Can you refuse service to a guest?

Yes.

Our bartenders reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who:

• Is underage
• Cannot provide valid identification
• Appears intoxicated
• Is behaving aggressively or unsafely

Guest safety is our highest priority.
